I can relate to Belly and Conrad in so many ways, and I think that’s why I love their story so much. They have so much fun together, and their friendship is really put to the test when they start falling for each other. I especially love It’s Not Summer Without You because it’s set in my favorite season – summertime! There’s nothing like spending lazy days at the beach with your friends, and that’s exactly what Belly and Conrad do in this book. I’m so grateful that you’ve written such a wonderful series about two best friends who are always there for each other, no matter what. I don’t know how I would survive the long, hot days without your books to keep me company. It’s a quick read that will leave you wanting more. Han does a great job of capturing the feeling of summer and first love. Belly has been in love with Conrad since they were children, but he seems to be pulling away from her.Īs Belly tries to figure out what’s going on with Conrad, she also has to deal with her mother’s illness.
The novel follows Belly and her friends as they spend one last summer together before college. Jenny Han’s It’s Not Summer Without You is the perfect summer read.
